ACTIVITIES
PARTIES
We love celebrating holidays as much as we love preparing for them. On St. Nicolas´ Day, St. Nicolas visits the kids with his two friends, the angel and the devil. Of course, we also celebrate Halloween, Christmas, Carnival, Easter, Mother´s Day, Father´s Day and Children´s Day. We love celebrating the birthdays of our children and teachers too. And we end the school year with the Summer Garden Celebration, where parents, grandparents and friends of the children and the nursery are invited to come celebrate with us.
trips
Every week we organize various activities and trips. We visit museums, salt caves, and children’s playgrounds such as Gutovka, Folimanka, or Výtoň, as well as nearby nature spots like Ďáblický Forest, the Prague Zoo, or Petřín Hill. We also take the children ice skating.
THEATRE
We invite popular theatre groups to our kindergarten (such as Divadlo Lala, Malé Vinohradské Divadlo, and Divadlo Koloběžka), and we also visit selected theatres ourselves, including the neighborhood theatre Damúza at Vyšehrad, Divadlo Minor, and the theatre boat Tajemství.
KINDERGARTEN IN NATURE
Every year, our older children enjoy a five-day nature camp, each time with a new theme and in a different location. We also take some of the children to a morning skiing course.
SPRING
In spring we visit the fairy Kvítkomíra and enjoy the beauty of Vyšehrad´s gardens and landscapes.
SUMMER
We love summer! During the hot days we set up a big swimming pool in our garden and the children have a chance to try out everything they learned in their swimming classes.
AUTUMN
In autumn we visit the elf called Vítek, travel to Toulcův Dvůr, go horseback riding in Bučovice and go to a pumpkin farm where we have amazing pumpkin soup.
WINTER
Vyšehrad is an ideal place for winter fun where there are hills perfect for sledding in the snow. Before Christmas we go visit Bethlehem and Winter Lady.
